Within the Union troops, a group known as the Knights of the Seal were organized with the purpose of ensuring the safety of the magical seals. The young priestess Mannah has matured and now lives in the company of the other people who are being held captive. In the eighteen years that have passed since then, the Union has established its dominance over the land and has captured as prisoners the former soldiers who served in the troops of the Empire.
The world was shattered as a result of the happenings of the first game, and it was up to Angelus, the Red Dragon, to fix the broken magical seals and put a stop to the end of the world.
